Location of resistor for AC blower 2014 Corrolla

#1
My heat/AC blower loses power then comes back. I have waited for the last 6 months for it to go out completely, because intermittent problems are harder to trouble shoot. It finally died then a family member pecked on the motor with the butt of a pocket knife and it came back. I did some research and came up with the resistor or the blower itself could be the problem. Since the resistor is much cheaper I decided to go that route.

Here is the problem I can't locate it. There is no Haynes manual yet; it is too new. The pix I found on Google are nothing like mine. The local auto parts store tried but was not much help either.

Update. After looking at pictures on Google some more I noticed that on my car there is no Resistor beside the motor. There is a knock for one but there is not nor has there ever been a resistor in this location. The resistor I purchased will fit perfectly in this knockout as there is an outline in the shape of that part. The question is where is it? My car was built in June of 2014 I thought it may be a half year model but 2015 Corolla had the same part number. I have gotten nowhere!!
