Jerky Car!

Hello all! Hope all is well. I noticed that my car once a while ( not always) jerks when i put in park from drive. do you guys know what might be the problem? thank you so much for your replies.

If you are slowly going from drive to park, the jerking may be reverse engaging then disengaging.

Have you checked the level of the automatic transmission fluid yet?

if you are placing into Park, your Selanoid switch comes to mind.

On hills. on a level road how is it getting out of P
