Is my dash vent missing a part?

I bought a brand new 2015 Corolla straight from the factory. Driving today I noticed that the dash vent (the one right on top of the dash near the windshield) seemed to be missing a piece. Is this how it's supposed to look or is my car missing a piece? I can't upload a photo right now (on my phone) but on the right side of the on top of dash vent, there's a rounded button, but on the left its kind of a hole. Am I freaking out over nothing or is my car missing a part?

i just noticed that on mine today. had for 2 months.i was going to take it in till i saw ur post.glad i did.now i see its normal. thanks
