Hello-I am helping a friend out of a jam. He Has a 1996 Toyota Corolla DX. This car is a good looking car however; I cannot say the same about the mechanical issues. His problems is this.
When he turns on his driving lights his rear tail (Stop) lights stay on as if he was pressing on the brakes while driving. He also instrument light intermentting as well. When he turns the lights on the running lights his instrument lights dim only when he steps onto the brakes but then when he releases it goes back to normal. I am puzzled here as it appears to me of a short issue.
My question is What. Where and How can I help him?
