Hello from a newbe

#1
Hi I bought my first Corrolla today. 1993 4dr 364k km. For sale buy a couple who had it 13 years. Actually in great shape considering it's a basic commuter car. Starts, drives, stops very well and only has a few little issues I can deal with over time, EXCEPT.
The brake lights don't work. I have the tools and can go through this but a copy of the wiring diagram would help.
Perhaps someone has one.

Oh yeah it turned out to be the break light switch. The contacts on it were very pitted and that was why it did not work. Also there were other issues like disconnected ground wires that had just been attached back by pinching them between the bulb holder and the light housing.
I didn't have time to solder those back so I used a new trick I discovered on another car. Pencil lead, clean the two pcs that need to connect (on the other car, a Mazda, I had light issues with bad connections as well) and rub the pencil lead onto the parts (only where they need to connect). put them together. In the case of the bulbs I just rubbed the pencil over the connection points. The lead is graphite and is 100% conductive so you can't spread it everywhere or you screw things up and create shorts. It seems to fill gaps or pits. On the Mazda it has been 3 months now of no issues and one month on the Corolla.
