Hi,
I'm fairly new to Toyota swaps between models and compatibility so bear with me. I need to swap the CV axles from a 7th (last gen) Celica (2ZZ-GE) onto 7th Gen Corolla Knuckles/Hub assemblies. I know both models have 26 splines on the outboard side, but when it comes to Toyota, does that also mean that the splined ends' diameter etc. are identical and that either vehicles' CV axles can be slid into either of the vehicles' hubs? I know by looking at Rock Auto that they both have M22 thread for the spindle nut which looks promising.
Also, has anyone tried this? I'm sure there is not much application outside of weird outlandish swaps where this would be necessary. Looking at the CV axles on Rock-auto it looks like the spline length is nearly the same, but the bit between the splines and the ABS ring looks a little different.

Thanks!
