Faint whistling noise when braking at low speed

Hi ,I took my car to the dealer 3 month ago .I had this noise and after they mechanic did a front brake job the noise was not there anymore.It however returned after driving just 500miles but not all the times.I took the car again today and they said brakes are fine .
Any suggestions?Should I just forget about it?

Brakes tend to squeal, specially if they’re cheap. Did you resurfaced your rotors? A little over a year ago I replaced my brakes with $10 brake pads(gotta love rockauto.com) and they started squealing within the week. It’s not too loud and I know what’s going on, so I don’t loose sleep over it. I just inspect them whenever I service my car.

Then don’t sweat on it too much. Auto parts stores do sell additives that help with brake noises but don’t expect much out of those.
