Does the engine immobilizer come standard on the 2017 Corolla eco? I got baited into adding the On-Guard Theft Protection System for the added immobilizer feature. I got taken for extra $1500! The other day I couldn't turn off that blue light with my key, so I just got in. No alarm went off. Blue light stayed on as I drove away. Then at about 2 miles the engine started shaking. Thought something was gonna crack! Doesnt immobilizer mean "not move"? Not to mention, that annoying flashing blue light is so bright that it only seems to say "come get me."
