Clunking Noise When Turning

#1
Have 1994 corolla wagon dx. When I bought it a short time ago, it made some clunking noises when going over bumps, especially turning. I noticed one front strut leaking oil, so I replaced both front struts myself including replacing sway bar links and bushings. I still here some clunking when turning left? Could motor mounts be doing that during a turn? Any guesses? There really wasn't play in tie rod ends, and car steers straight.??

I hope you had a proper 4-wheel alignment done after replacing the struts? If not, the car is out of alignment and can cause the tires to wear out prematurely, sometimes very quickly.

As for the clunking noise, it could be a lot of different things, from strut plates, to a CV joint/axle shaft, etc. Best way to find out where it's coming from is to get it on a lift and have it diagnosed.
