This varies based on your driving. If you brake hard when you pull up to every stop light or stop sign, they could be gone in 40k miles. You can make pads last 50-60k with good, light braking. Ceramic pads are not harsh on rotors, but can squeak some until they warm up a little. Normally they have low brake dust properties.
