Automatic transmission vibration @ 2600-2800rpm

#1
2009 1.8L. 4 speed automatic. 56,000 miles. NO trailer hitch - or towing. Older (80) owners. At about 2600 - 3000 rpm a vibration becomes apparent. Going downhill at 60-70 mph and shift into neutral and all is smooth & quiet. Still in neutral rev engine up to 3500-4000 rpm - still smooth & quiet. However, when in any forward drive gear, around 2600 rpm a vibration becomes noticeable. Feel it most in feet & seat. Also sounds very quietly like driving over a bridge with those steel 'mesh' sections, kinda like a buzzing, or over a very smooth road surface that has been scored in a diamond, square or across the roadway pattern. Does not matter with A/C on or off. Vibration, rumble, seems to be affected also by load - up hill more noticeable then level - level more noticeable than downhill. Good tires & balance. Again, engine & ride is SMOOTH & quiet when in neutral even at 70mph. Ideas? Thanks… I own a 2005 Vibe with 1.8 & 4 speed, but do not have that symptom.

Have to admit, have the same exact problem. I've been told bad fuel injector ( I'm skeptical but trying some injector cleaner anyway) or bad transmission mount. I hope someone has some wisdom on this. Going crazy.
