Anybody Towing With a Corolla?

Anybody towing with a Corolla 1.6 with a five-speed manual transmission? Or even with an automatic Corolla for that matter. <g>

I want to tow a small utility trailer. Probably 1500 lbs. would be the maximum gross weight. I think the empty trailer weighs about 400 lbs, by itself.

I was curious if anyone has done it? How you made out? Did you have any issues with doing it? How far did you tow? Etc?

I have similar corolla from factory specs it is advised not to tow more then 650kgs or 1300 pounds . but then again it depends on what engine you have there is quite alot of variations to the 1.6 corolla engine.

The main thing you have to think about is the fact that your car weighs maybe like 1600 pounds or there abouts so it would be like towing the same car behind you or there abouts
