I'm taking this to the dealer this weekend, but was wondering if anyone had the same issue:
My 2016 Carolla's red airbag light (the red one on the speedometer with the other warning lights, not the orange one that tells you if the airbag is on or off) is coming on sporadically. This is the same light that comes on (and then goes off) when you start up your car.
The thing is, it's not coming on regularly. Some times I'll take trips and it won't come on at all, sometimes it will come on and stay on throughout, and sometimes it comes on half-way through my journey...so there's no rhyme or reason. The only thing consistent is that once it comes on, it will stay on until I turn off the car...but then I can start up again and it won't come on for the rest of the day. Weird.
I'm just hoping I can make it to the weekend without the airbag going off in my face while I'm driving...but I guess this light is also an indicator of other issues...like the seatbelts or just the computer in general.
