Hi everyone,

It has been raining a lot here the last few days. Sunday I got into my car and it smelled like mildew. I figured it was the front mats from getting in/out the car while it has been raining. Parked under my carport and left the windows cracked once the rain stopped and it got hot. Today I got in again and still smells. Traced it to the back floor mats. Underneath was soaking wet and I have no idea how it got there. Haven't gone in and out the back in idk how long. I checked the trunk and it's dry. Checked the spare tire well and also dry. Seats are not wet, just the floor.

Any ideas? Where would there be a drain around that area that could possibly be leaking there?

Thanks so much for the help!

You may have a leak on your heater core or AC evaporator core (both located in the same compartment). With a paper towel check the type of liquid. Heater core leak would feel oily and green in color (coolant). Evaporator core leak will be clear (water).
