2006 corolla s driver mods

hi guys im new to the forum. i just inherited my moms 2006 corolla s 5 speed, and i want to do some basic mods to make driving it a little bit better and more fun to drive. what I want to do right now is just simple stuff like new shift knob, adjusting the steering wheel to where its closer and a few other things along those lines.. any other mods yall did that you would recommend?

Inspect all sensors, coils and feul injectors

I have a corolla LE. I replaced the stock stereo with a Pioneer ($120 ?) that includes a bluetooth for audio (iPhone music, etc) and phone calls (hands off call receiving), & USB input. I also replaced the front door speakers and rear deck speakers. You can find how to on YouTube. If it is a first time, you have to spend a lot of time reading.
