2006 Corolla LE Upgrades

Want to upgrade my 6 CD changer radio to a touch screen radio with aux, anybody have any suggestions?

also was wondering about the rear view mirror, my car was originally my cousin's so after i got it i noticed that the review mirror has wires going from it into my roof and that one of the wires was cut. I was wondering if anybody knows what the wires are for?

If you rear view mirror has any buttons or temp display like that... Then that's what they are for. Also if its a base model I think manufactures just leave them their and don't bother to take them out.
