2003 - 150K miles, Brakes lost most of their pressure, please advise

My 2003 Corolla lost a lot of brake pressure about a few weeks ago and had a squealing noise as well. I took it into the shop and they replaced the front rotors, front brakes, rear drum shoes and put in a rear hardware kit. They also bled out the brake system, exchanged the fluid and fixed the wheel alignment. All of this fixed the squealing but it did not fix the brake pressure.

I went to another shop and they told me that the master cylinder had a leak and had to be replaced, I had the master cylinder replaced but the brakes still go too far down before they actually slow down.

I feel like I have tried everything but the brakes still go down too far before they cause the car to slow down. I feel like I am pressing it to where it is a few inches from the floor, this is definitely farther than it used to be.

Can anybody please advise on what might be the cause of this?

Thanks.
