2001 GLS - Does it have Satnav? U.K.

I have just dropped on a low miles 1600 GLS auto for a runabout. On the dash it has the circular multi function switch assemble, and it says Guidance and Reroute on it.

If this is a Satnav system, how does it work?
I cannot get anything up on the display that suggests it works!!

Maybe Google -> 2001 Corolla, Satnav

I'd be surprised if a 2001 Corolla had satellite navigation.

You are probably correct in saying it is not satnav.
Someone has suggested it might be prehistoric navigation system of some sort.

It is obviously Toyota fitted, but nothing in the handbook.

It is definitely some sort of navigation system.
