on my 2001 , the interior door handle broke off. The bar to the door release got tangled with the window regulator and as the window went up and down the bar was slamming against the locking mechanism and now the door will not unlock with either the electric motors or the key in the door. How do I get the door open? without having to hack a hole thru the panel.

If you move the driver seat back all the way, does that give you enough room to remove the door panel? As far as I know, that panel shouldn't overlap with anything but it might be a pain to fish it out with the seat in the way.
I would say call a locksmith and see if they can slim jim it, but if the power lock isn't releasing ... slim jim might do more damage to the door.
