1997 DX - Is It a Bad Idea To Cut Strut Springs to Lower the Car?

Lowering a vehicle lowers its center of gravity, which reduces body sway in turns, which improves handling. :thumbsup:
Yes, coil springs can be cut using a cutting torch and done properly. No, the car will not blow up, it wont cause the wheels to fall off, it wont cause an earthquake or even warts to break out all over your face.:laughing:
I did a write up on here about the proper way to do this. It's in one of the threads on lowering springs, so search using keywords -> Lowering springs.
