1994 tranny/clutch problems

#1
I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla DX wagon with the 1.8 and a 5 speed. It recently quit going into gear. I bled the slave cylinder and it worked for a few miles then quit going in gear again. So I replaced the clutch master and slave. This didn't help. So I replaced the clutch. One of the springs was broken, but the clutch friction plate was fine. When I got it back together it still won't go in gear. The transmission had no oil in it so I'm worried it is ruined. Any way of knowing for sure before I junk the car? Also found a 1993 corolla with an automatic and a bad motor for cheap on Craigslist. What would be involved with pulling my motor and swapping it into the 93 automatic? Not sure if the 93 is a 1.6 or 1.8 haven't seen it yet. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
