1989 Corolla - Cooling System Inlet Hose

how do i remove it lol. i cant remove the side attached to the back of the engine! any tips?

Many times old cooling system hoses that are in a difficult spot and are not easy to access, have to be cut out with an Exacto knife.

How did you make out with this problem?

Just have patience. I sat and tugged on them for about 30 minutes and they finally came off. It's not the hoses that are difficult, it's trying to hold on to those darn hose clamps. I used a combination of needlenose pliers, lockjaw pliers (where they would fit) and a flathead screwdriver. But in the end, it was just persistence that paid off.
