1.8 Engine feul efficiency

Hey Guys,

I have Corolla 2006 1.8 automatic, the fuel average is 7-8/liter on soft paddle, I was just wondering how can I increase the feul average to 11-12/liter. My mechanic told me if we replace the feul injectors with 1.3 engine corolla, this could help us to for better feul average.

I need an expert advice on this.

How much is it going to cost to buy new injectors and have them installed? My guess is it will take quite a few miles to recoup your costs.

I would concentrate on keeping your tires properly inflated and use the AC less often. Both are free, and will have a meaningful effect on economy without any mechanical changes.
