1,3 xli E10 engine hickup

Hi guys

Have a problem With my corolla its a 1,3ltr xli 1993 model manual transmission gasoline. When I accelerate the engine have like a hickup and its hard to drive. But when i accelerate very slow its fine. Reverse its also good and on idle. I have changed, plugs and cables. Lambda sensor, gasoline filter. Alternator lid, rotor and coil. Still not helping. Any ideas of what this could be??

Maybe somebody else owns your car. It looks like you're focused on engine performance as opposed to drive train linkage problems. Before my 97's time, but on my older cars engines I'd be looking at checking compression and ignition timing and cleaning the fuel injector. Before getting mechanical I'd run a gasoline / fuel injector cleaner like STP and my fave Moly oil additive.

It's not too clear from your short description if the tranny shifting under stress could be the problem, if the engine revs well otherwise. Be alert for a slipping transmission, differential, etc.
