I suggest taking it to a reputable upholstery shop that specializes in auto repairs and warranty work for dealers. They will be able to take your seat out and create a lumbar support that fits you. I strongly recommend this because their is little to no lumbar support in the Corolla S seats.

Yes it will shift automatically, but at a higher RPM. Meaning if you rev the engine high enough, when in Manual mode it will shift automatically.
