Not true. Cruise control is your friend. Look at my numbers. 47.5 mpg. Yes rpm do go up going down hill while in cruise, but watch your mpg bar, it goes all the way up, meaning not using much gas at all. Engine is just trying to keep you at the speed you have chosen.

I am currently at 47.5 mpg. I get about 450 miles per half tank and over 650 on full tank. It is all in how you drive.

I use cruise everyday, nearly every time I go anywhere.

I keep my foot out of it and use cruise. Actually, on my last tank, I calculated it manually at 48.05 mpg. Almost as good as a Prius.

UPDATED... Getting better little by little.

I learned to drive with a 3 speed on the column in my dad's 68 GMC. I have had a couple MT's since and will never go back. I just don't enjoy shifting gears. People act like its "cooler" if they shift gears. It just shows their ignorance.

Yes, I think we did a fluid change that was recommended by the dealer.

Nope, everything working perfectly. No repairs so far, not even brakes.

114400 on my 2014 CVT

I have nearly 113k miles and have not yet replaced my brakes. The dealer says they still look good. Anyone replaced them yet?
