To me it sounds like a pedal issue. Your car has higher mileage so there might be a buildup on the accelerator pedal contacts. Your pedal is electronic. Disconnect it, pull it out and try to clean it. Can’t hurt anyways. Stick with contact cleaner and not WD-40 type stuff.

You could pull your door skin off and look at the mechanism. The cable may not be seated all the way. I’m leaning toward actuator though. It happens. Are you still under warranty?
