Auxiliary Port or USB Port for best Audio?

I have a Kenwood head unit that utilizes the aux and USB ports. It all depends on what I’m playing. Some sounds great on one and not the other. But I mostly use the USB port. I also have an iPhone X and can never seem to find that damn dongle! I added a wireless charger to the center console...

Center button on steering wheel controls does nothing?

Your not stuck with anything. My entire stock system is sitting in a box in my basement. Now I have Kenwood head unit, Maestro car interface, Kenwood component speakers (doors & deck), Kicker tweeters (doors), Kenwood tweeters (C pillars), Kicker amps and 2-12” Kicker subs. CarPlay, android...

    No More New Car Smell

Mothers VLR has that new car smell, to me anyways. But it’s vinyl, leather, rubber cleaner and not air freshener.

Squeaky Dash - How to tighten?

Spray foam! Only kidding. Keep checking back, there are others who have had this issues. One guy kept returning his car to the dealership, I don’t know if he ever posted the outcome though.

Center button on steering wheel controls does nothing?

I have an aftermarket head unit now and my buttons are programmable through the idatalink Maestro. But I think I had similar issues with the factory set up. The steering wheel controls are standard on all models and certain functions may only be for the NAV units. Again, I don’t know, but...

Spontaneous Window Crack, 17 Corolla, no prior chips or nicks. Anyone else?

Let me know how it goes. Post some pics when you’re finished (if you can) My pain runs from my waist to my ankle, all in the back. Like a straight line. Hurts like hell, takes 5 minutes to put my socks on in the mornings! Movement helps me. It’s the sitting or laying that keeps it hurting. Doc...

    Borla question

Are you sure it’s not the heat shield? I had to trim mine after I had the car lowered. Didn’t end up being the problem, the dipstick mechanic installed my UR sway bar backwards and was hitting the exhaust.

First time Corolla owner with various new problems

Most aftermarket radios have more options and are built better. I think the answer to your question is yes. I have a Kenwood, it does CarPlay and android auto. Has video in and out. Plays DVD’s and I’ve even hooked up the PlayStation to it.

First time Corolla owner with various new problems

After re reading this post... sounds like battery issues. Toyota uses crappy batteries for some reason. Maybe only for a few years, I dunno. But these cars do really weird sh#t when the batteries are dying.

Spontaneous Window Crack, 17 Corolla, no prior chips or nicks. Anyone else?

I’m with you on the back pain! I’m currently dealing with sciatica and my Corolla is kicking my ass! The front STB is not going to make the car so stiff that you’ll be uncomfortable. It will stiffen up the suspension but you’ll really appreciate the decrease in body roll and improved steering...

Spontaneous Window Crack, 17 Corolla, no prior chips or nicks. Anyone else?

I have all the bars made for 11th gen Corolla’s. (That I’m aware of) Front and rear strut tower braces Front H brace 2 rear sway bars, one TRD, one Ultra Racing. I bought and installed each bar separately and notice increase in stiffness and handling with each bar. The exception would be the H...

    Borla question

My TRD exhaust is making the paint flake off of the body kit. Not a big deal, you can’t see it unless you’re under the car. Yours looks like normal fit though. The TRD fits up tight too.

    Newbie here looking for help

Give it time. This is a slow forum these days. Everyone went to the Facebook groups. Intake and exhaust are a good place to start. Just know that nothing is going to be dramatic with these cars. Best mod for the money is a Pedal Commander. Exhaust: Borla, TRD are the most popular. Intake...
