What part of the world are you from? Here in the U.S.A., dealer parts and fluids are very, very expensive. How much are you paying at the dealership for the oil and oil filter? AMSOIL oil and filters are not only less costly, but are the finest quality products of their kind anywhere in the world.

Any brand automatic transmission fluid will be fine as long as it meets the WS transmission fluid performance standard specified by Toyota. Look on the bottle of automatic transmission fluid to be certain it lists the WS specification. Here is the link to my Online Product Application Guide...

I'm confident Toyota engineers know what the proper oil viscosity is for their vehicles. The recommended viscosity listed in the Toyota Corolla's owners manual is there for a reason.
