If it were my car, I'd change the oil and move up to AMSOIL as soon as I had the car home in my driveway.
An engine will have factory assembly line debris, dust and dirt inside that gets into the oil and I think it's a good practice to remove that from the engine with an oil change in order to prevent unnecessary engine wear.
